Thin-walled deep groove ball bearings have a simple structure and are easy to use. It is mainly used to bear radial load, and can also bear radial load and axial combined load at the same time. This series of bearings is suitable for places where the load and assembly shaft are relatively large and the space is restricted.

Thin-walled deep groove ball bearings consist of inner ring, outer ring, steel balls, cage, grease and seals. Thin-walled deep groove ball bearing types: Open and sealed two structures. There are open bearings, bearings with dust covers, seals or snap rings. Open type means that the bearing does not have a sealed structure, and the sealed thin-walled deep groove ball is divided into dust-proof seal and oil-proof seal. The material of the dust-proof sealing cover is stamped steel plate, which only serves to prevent dust from entering the bearing raceway. The oil-proof type is a contact oil seal, which can effectively prevent the grease in the bearing from overflowing.

The basic designs of single row deep groove ball bearings are open and sealed. For manufacturing reasons, open bearings of the same size as sealed or dust-proof bearings may also have seal grooves in the outer ring. Bearings with shields or seals on both sides are maintenance-free, lubricated for life. Such bearings cannot be cleaned and the temperature cannot exceed 80 degrees Celsius.

Single row deep groove ball bearing housings are the most widely used bearing types:
1. Basic design of open bearing
2. Sealed bearings
3. ICOS oil-sealed bearing unit
4. Bearings with snap grooves, with or without snap rings

This bearing type has a solid inner ring, which runs on two rows of symmetrical rollers in a solid outer ring. The outer ring has a concave, spherical raceway. This design compensates for any alignment errors and shaft deflections. Spherical roller bearings can withstand particularly high radial loads. Additionally, they can accommodate axial forces in both directions. These bearings are used in elevators, textile machines, food processing machines, cranes etc.
